10. The Vivid Pink by Graff ($11.8 million)

Coloured diamonds are created with a sort of seismic shock that scientists believe to be the reason of changing the molecular structure of these gemstones. It is rare to found one that is why pink diamonds are very variable and one of this is The Vivid Pink by Graff. It has a 5-carat cushion-shaped diamond on its centrepiece. It has a high quality and was given a classification of fancy vivid. On the sides of this jewellery, there are shield-shaped diamonds that added a complementary touch into it. The Bvlgari Blue ring has unconventional look that utilizes two different coloured diamonds. This $15.7 million ring is composed of triangular 10.95-carat fancy vivid blue diamond and a triangular 9.87-carat diamond. It is created during the early 1970s and was originally purchased for $1 million as a gift for a European collector’s wife. The diamonds of this ring are mounted onto a gold band that has a baguette diamonds embedded. In 2010, it came up for sale and experts believe that it would fetch around $12 million.

This ring is believed to be a part of collection of Princess Mathilde Bonaparte, who is known as the niece of Napoleon I and relative of King George II.  The Historic Pink Diamond ring has an 8.72-carat pink diamond. According to Sotheby’s Geneva, this ring just recently resurfaced since 1940s and was sold for $15.9 million later this year during auction house's Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels sale. It has a vibrant cushion cut diamond that is considered as extremely rare.

Another expensive piece from English jeweller Laurence Graff and his company called Graff Diamonds is The Graff Vivid Yellow. This ring has a 100-carat yellow diamond which is mounted in gold with diamonds on the band. During the auction at Sotheby’s Geneva, this massive stone fetched a world record for yellow diamonds. Originally, The Graff Vivid Yellow has a 190-carat rough diamond when the company purchased it in Africa and was cut for nine months to achieve its recent look.

5. The Perfect Pink Diamond ($23.2 million)

During Christie’s auction house in Hong Kong, The Perfect Pink Diamond was sold for $23.2 million. This is because it is very rare for pink diamonds to have a pure colour without any additional tones of grey and orange. This ring has a 14.23-carat diamond which is also rare because according to experts, only few of this coloured diamonds weigh more than 0.20-carat. It holds the record for the most expensive piece of jewellery that was sold during an auction in Asia.

4. The Winston Blue ($23.8 million)

Known to be the largest flawless vivid blue diamond, The Winston Blue was brought by Harry Winston Inc. for nearly $23.8 million during a Christie’s Geneva sale. This 13.22-carat diamond holds a world record for a blue diamond and was a Type IIb diamond. This ring has a pear-shaped diamond which is flack on either side which weighs 1.00-carat and 0.96-carat.

3. The Graff Pink ($46.2 million)

Described as “one of the greatest diamonds ever discovered”, The Graff Pink has a 24.78-carat pink diamond that was sold by Sotheby’s Geneva in 2010. The gem is a fancy intense pink according to Gemological Institute of America and assessed as Type IIa. The Graff Diamonds released the stone from the cutters and they turned it into a now vivid and internally flawless diamond. It was once owned by Harry Winston but it was currently owned by Laurence Graff. 

2. World’s First all-diamond Ring ($70 million)

Have you ever seen or heard about an all-diamond ring? The World’s First all-diamond Ring is the one and only ring which is created from pure diamond. Created in 2012 by Shawish Jewellery based in Switzerland, this ring is composed of 150-carat rough diamond. Without metal band, this ring costs $70 million and was created with the use of lasers along with traditional cutting and polishing diamond techniques.

1. Pink Star Diamond Ring ($72 million)

Until 2013, Graff Pink is held a record for the most expensive diamond ring sold at an auction, and then The Pink Star Diamond came along. Formerly known as Steinmetz Pink, this ring has a 59.6-carat oval-shaped diamond. It was originally 132.5-carat rough diamond before it was cut. This largest known diamond having been rated as Vivid Pink is currently owned by Isaac Wolf. It was sold to Wolf for $83 million in 2013 but later returned to Sotheby’s Geneva and it was revalued at $72 million.
